Implant-Retained Dentures

If you’re uncomfortable with the fit and appearance of your traditional removable dentures, implant-retained dentures could be just the thing to help you smile with confidence again. The lack of support can cause traditional dentures to slip or move, but you won’t have to worry about that with implant-retained dentures. Similar to single and multiple implants, these dentures are attached to dental implant posts in the jaw bone for improved support.  Also referred to as "snap-in" dentures, these prosthetics snap securely into place on top of the dental implants

IMPLANT-RETAINED DENTURES VS. TRADITIONAL DENTURES

The difference between traditional dentures and implant-retained dentures is that the traditional option offers much less support.  No one wants to be going through their day worrying about their teeth slipping out of place or what they can eat.  Implant-retained dentures are securely attached to dental implant posts in the jaw bone.  The implants allow you to be confident in your dentures all day long.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF IMPLANT-RETAINED DENTURES?

Implant-retained dentures are very beneficial for those who want an easy and effective way to replace their missing teeth and improve the usability of their dentures. Here are just some of the benefits they offer:

  • More secure.
  • Slimmer denture design.
  • No need for adhesives.
  • Less rubbing and sore spots.
  • Natural and secure function.
